Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the ElegantMac website, applications, and related services. By creating an account, downloading an app, or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.

If you use ElegantMac on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials accurate and secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You may not share your account with people outside your household or organisation.

• Use a strong, unique password and keep it private.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Keep your billing information current so we can keep your licence active.

Each ElegantMac app is sold as a lifetime licence. When you buy an app, you pay once and receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on the devices stated on its page. There is no subscription and nothing to renew.

You may not resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute our apps except where the law expressly allows it. Some apps include open-source components, which are governed by their own licences.

ElegantMac apps are one-time purchases. We show the price before you confirm a purchase, and you are charged once. We never bill you on a recurring basis.

Because there is no subscription, there is nothing to cancel. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

You agree not to use ElegantMac to break the law, harm other people, infringe intellectual property, distribute malware, or interfere with the security or operation of our services. You also may not attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.

We may suspend or terminate an account that repeatedly or seriously violates these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will explain why and give you a chance to respond.

You keep ownership of the files, text, and other content you bring to ElegantMac. You grant us only the limited rights needed to provide the service you have asked for — for example, storing a document you choose to sync or processing a file you ask an app to convert.

Our apps are designed to do sensitive work on your device. Where a feature needs a server, the app explains that before you use it. We do not use your content to train shared models or to build advertising profiles.

We work hard to keep the services available, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access. Maintenance, security work, and circumstances outside our control may cause downtime. We may improve, change, or retire features; if a change materially reduces what you paid for, we will give reasonable notice and a fair remedy.

Our apps are provided with reasonable skill and care, but they are not a substitute for professional advice or for maintaining your own backups. To the extent the law allows, ElegantMac is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You may stop using the services and delete your account at any time. We may end this agreement if you materially breach it, if we are required to by law, or if we discontinue the service. If we discontinue a paid app, we will contact you about a fair resolution.

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ElegantMac is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law in your country of residence. Questions about these terms can be sent to legal@elegantmac.com.
